Andhra Pradesh Revenue Services Association president Bopparaju Venkateswarlu on Tuesday claimed that state government has agreed to pay 6,000 crore of arrears to revenue employees under different heads by September end.

Venkateswarlu was speaking at a meeting of revenue employees that he convened here on Tuesday. He said a meeting of revenue employees’ council involving representatives from village revenue assistant level to deputy collector level will be held at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram in Vijayawada on October 1.

District revenue association president Pithani Trinadha Rao, state treasurer Giri Kumar Reddy, state vice president R.V. Rajesh, VROs Association state president Kona Anjaneya Kumar, VRAs Association state president G. Brahmaiah, state general secretary G. Anupama, state vice president P.S.S.N. Prasad, K.V. Subba Rao and others were present at the meeting.
